Two accused arrested in robbery case of money changer in Kotkapura.

On September 28, in Faridkot town Kotkapura, the police arrested two accused in the case of robbing a shopkeeper of a money changer and looting 95,000 rupees at the tip of a pistol, while two are still absconding.
It is notable that on September 28, Naresh Kumar Monga, a resident of Kotkapura, was sitting at his money exchange shop at around 7:45 pm. At the same time, three people entered his shop and robbed him of 95000 rupees and three mobiles at the tip of the pistol. Not only this, he also injured Naresh Kumar by hitting a rod on his head. But this whole incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in the shop. The footage of CCTV cameras proved to be helpful in police investigation in this matter.
With the help of CCTV camera footage, police today arrested two of the four accused who carried out the said robbery from near Ludhiana. Out of the money looted from the looters, the police have also recovered ten thousand rupees and a rod used for the crime besides a mobile. The arrested accused have been identified as Hardip Singh resident Lakhewali district Shri Muktsar Sahib and Jasvir Singh Vasi district Ludhiana.
Giving information about the case, DSP Jastinder Singh said that the incident was carried out by three people while one person was sitting outside in the Swift car. He said that during interrogation, the accused told that he expected Naresh Kumar Monga to have a large foreign currency. DSP Singh said that there were earlier cases against both the accused.
