Then, with the help of the researchers from ICMR and NIV, we began developing our own vaccine. While conducting our research, we learned how these scientists battled a war fought against India not only by foreign intelligence agencies but even by our own people. Their story of struggle as well as sacrifice was overwhelming. However, by developing the quickest, most affordable, and safest vaccine, we defeated superpowers. I believed that this tale needed to be shared in order for every Indian to feel patriotic. It will also be India’s first pure scientific film about such a bio-war that we weren’t aware of, he continued.

The movie’s poster was also unveiled by the director. I Am Buddha Productions, run by Agnihotri’s actress wife Pallavi Joshi, and Abhishek Agarwal’s Abhishek Agarwal Arts label will produce the feature film.

According to Joshi, “The Vaccine War” is a homage to the science and medical community’s unwavering support and commitment. “This movie honours the achievements of our world-class bio scientists.
