Slumdog Millionaire face Madhur Mittal booked for sexual assault
Madhur Mittal who got famous after the film Slumdog Millionaire in which he played the role of Samir Malik has been booked by the Khar police as his former girlfriend alleged him for sexual assault.
The reports say that his former girlfriend was assaulted by him at her home. The police said that the incident took place on 13 February 2021. They further said that the actor entered into his girlfriend`s house and sexually assaulted her.
His girlfriend stays at Bandra. They met each other in December last year. The lawyer of the girl said that Madhur forced himself on his girlfriend in influence of alcohol.
The lawyer further added that the girl had stopped talking to him on February 11 and after two days he assaulted her.
“Madhur Mittal was livid with anger. He got into my client’s room and without giving her any chance to talk, strangled her neck more than 15 times, slapped her multiple times, pulled her hair, yanked her ears, and punched her under the right eye, physically lifted her and assaulted her. It was a sexual attack. She has sustained bruises and injuries all over her face, neck, chest, ribs, hands, back and ears and eyes,” the lawyer said in a statement.
He is best known for his character ‘Tito’ in the TV serial Shaka Laka Boom Boom and his performance as Salim Malik in the film Slumdog Millionaire. Slumdog Millionaire was a film based on the life story of an 18-year old boy from Juhu. It was directed by Danny Boyle and produced by Christian Colson.
He was last seen in the movie Maatr that was a thriller.
