It was previously rumoured to make its debut at the company’s first event at the MWC Barcelona that was cancelled in February due to coronavirus outbreak.

It was put up by Realme on the website for certification towards the end of February, which corroborates the previous timeline Realme had scheduled for the launch of the Realme TV in the Indian market.
The listing for the Realme’s upcoming LED TV bears a model number “JSC55LSQL”, which was listed as another model on March 16, alluding to a 55-inch model.
The BIS listing for the Realme TV does not divulge any information on its specifications or design. The information that Realme TV’s BIS listing could mean an impending launch in India, which could be impacted further owing to the coronavirus lockdown that is underway in India. Realme had to cancel its Narzo series launch, scheduled for March 26, because of the blanket lockdown in the country.
Separately, Realme recently extended the warranty periods on its smartphones, as well as the replacement period, due to the lockdown.
The announcement came as a respite to the users who own Realme products whose warranty will expire during the lockdown period, i.e., March 20 to April 20, and the products purchased between March 15 and April 30.
