Rahul Gandhi slams PM Modi, says Mr 56″ hasn’t said the word ‘China’ for months
Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi has yet again taken a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Gandhi has criticized PM Modi for being mum on the issue of Chinese intrusion into Indian Territory.
Amidst the ongoing tension with China, Rahul Gandhi has again slammed Prime Minister Modi for not saying anything in the matter. Gandhi tweeted, “China is expanding its occupation into Indian territory. Mr 56″ hasn’t said the word ‘China’ for months. Maybe he can start by saying the word ‘China’.”
This comment by Gandhi came after some Indian soldiers were injured during a physical fight with Chinese soldiers. The incident happened last week along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) near Naku La area in Sikkim.
On Monday, the Indian Army clarified that it was a “minor face-off” between the troops of both the countries. This face off on 20th January was resolved by local commanders as per established protocols.
On Sunday, the former congress leader blamed the centre for the Chinese intrusions in India.
Gandhi said, “If India’s labourers, farmers and weavers were strong, protected and given opportunities, China would never dare to come inside India.”
The congress leader took a swipe at the Central government and alleged that China has understood that Indian economy is on its knees, and every action of the government is designed to strengthen five-six big business people.
Rahul Gandhi is currently on a three-day visit to the western belt in Tamil Nadu where he is interacting with farmers, weavers, and the general public. The Assembly elections are due in Tamil Nadu in April-May 2021.
