Politics is seen on Sai baba Temple in Shirdi, Maharashtra
The big news came from Shirdi, Maharashtra that the Shirdi Sai temple would be closed after this Sunday, it is decided by the administrative body of Sai Baba’s Samadhi against the annoucement of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray for alloting Rs 110 crore for the development of Pathar Parbhani, which is considered to be the birthplace of Sai Baba
Member of the Sai Baba sansthan trust B Wakchaure said, “We have announced the closure of Shirdi from January 19. A meeting of villagers will be called on Saturday evening to discuss the issue. Devotees will not face any difficulty when they come to Shirdi ”
“Locals are unhappy with Thackeray for calling Pathri the birthplace of Sai Baba. No documents are available about Sai Baba’s birthplace. Sai Baba himself never had any information about his birthplace or religion while living in Shirdi.”. – Former Trustee of Sri Saibaba Institute, Kailasabapu Kote
The report further states that Shirdi temple and all its units like Sai Hospital, Sai Bhaktivas and local medical shops are kept out of the purview of the bandh
It was told that Maharashtra’s public transport vehicles are likely to be off the road and temples can be obstructed for tourists visiting the city by air or train.
