No essential components were harmed in the Vande Bharat Express crash.
According to officials, the freshly introduced Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express train had an accident when a herd of buffalo crossed the railway line, although no functional parts were damaged. Around 11.15 am, an accident occurred between Vatva station and Maninagar on the train travelling from Mumbai Central to Gujarat’s Gandhinagar. The front portion of the engine was damaged in the collision. But no component that was useful was harmed. The train arrived at Gandhinagar on time , since it kept moving. The Driver coach’s nose cone cover and mounting brackets were destroyed during this collision with livestock. It is therefore replaceable because it is intended to be a sacrifice. The railroad has enough extra nose cones on hand. During the maintenance, it was quickly swapped with a replacement one in the Mumbai Central depot, and the train was quickly returned to service with no additional downtime.
