‘Malang’ 1st Day Box Office Collection: Good Opening, Rs 6.71 Crore On Day 1
Aditya Roy Kapoor and Disha Patani starrer ‘Malang’ directed by Mohit Suri, hit the screens on 7th February and opened a good response at the box office. The film grossed around Rs 6 crore nett on day one, which is a good figure for the cast. The report stated that the film could well register a growth of 40-50% growth on Saturday, which is a norm now with most films.
‘Malang’ is a good blend of glam, games, and thrills. The hitch that ‘Malang’ faces are the Delhi elections today, many multiplexed may be shut till the evening.
However ‘Malang’ has managed to record the third-best opening day figure of 2020 after Ajay Devgan’s ‘Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior’ and Varun Dhawan’s ‘Street Dancer 3’. The box office collection of the thriller has been on a lower side in CP Berar, Rajasthan, UP, and Bihar.
The overall movie being fallen in a low budget category, Aditya Roy Kapur’s movie could earn brilliant in India and also worldwide. ‘Malang’ clashes with Hina Khan’s film ‘Hacked’. The movie sees Ms.Khan’s Bollywood debut and it is Directed by Vikram Bhatt.
Along with ‘Malang’, and ‘Hacked’, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s film ‘Shikara’ hit the screens and managed to collect around Rs 75 lakhs net on its first day.
