Maharashtra polls: From Amit Shah to Sharad Pawar, top leaders look to woo voters on last day of campaigning

As campaigning for Maharashtra election comes to an end on Saturday, all top leaders and star campaigners will make one last effort — whirlwind tours, rallies and roadshows to reach out to voters.

BJP national president and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be addressing election rallies in Navapur in Nandurbar, Akole and Karjat Jamkhed in Ahmednagar. Amit Shah will also attend a roadshow in Karjat Jamkhed where BJP minister Ram Shinde is pitched against the formidable Rohit Pawar who is the grandson of Sharad Pawar.

CM Devendra Fadnavis will be on a roadshow in his home town Nagpur. Fadnavis will also address rallies in Nagpur, Bhandara and Chandrapur.

BJP working president JP Nadda will be addressing a rally in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. He will also do a press conference in Mumbai.

Other top leaders and star campaigners from BJP cadre including Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Smriti Irani and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address rallies across the state.

While Gadkari will address rallies in Nagpur and Wardha, Smriti Irani will address rallies in Jalgaon and Yawatmal.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will be addressing rallies in Malad, Mumbai and Kalyan East.

Meanwhile, from the Shiv Sena clan, party chief Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aaditya Thackeray will address campaign rallies across the state for the last time for 2019 Maharashtra polls.

Uddhav Thackeray will be addressing five rallies in Maan, Mahad, Shriwardhan, Uran and Karjat of Raigad district.

Aaditya Thackeray, who is contesting polls for the first time, will hold roadshows in Dharavi, Chadivali, Badra East. He will also take out a bike rally in Worli, the assembly seat where he is contesting from.

Meanwhile, NCP chief Sharad Pawar will address four rallies in Bhor, Karjat Jamkhed, Indapur and final rally at his hometown Baramati.

MNS Chief Raj Thackeray will be addressing rallies in Nerul, Navi Mumbai and Thane.

Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi leader Prakash Ambedkar will also address four rallies in Bhandara and Gondia.
