Indian soldier martyred in cross-border firing against Pakistan
On Tuesday, Jammu & Kashmir Poonch locale along with Krishna Ghati area was targeted by Pakistan army. A 36 years old soldier named Naik Ravi Ranjan was killed by Pakistan troop during this ceasefire. He was a brave soldier from Bihar Rohtash district.
Devender Anand defense spokesperson Lt Col said that Pakistan started firing on Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch at around 11 am. On Saturday another brave jawan Naik Sandeep Thapa who hailed from Dehradun was killed by Pakistani army while attacking Rajouri district.
“Indian Army reacted unequivocally and adequately. Overwhelming harm to Pakistan Army posts and casualties on Pakistan soldiers have been exacted by own troops,” said a press release from the Defense Ministry.

In the exchange of fire along with the LOC area 36-year-old, Naik Ravi Ranjan Kumar Singh achieved martyrdom fighting for the nation. Singh was an inhabitant of Gopi Bigha town in Dehri-on-Sone tehsil in Bihar’s Rohtas area. He is survived by his wife Rita Devi.
“He was a brave, highly motivated and sincere soldier. The Nation will always remain indebted to him for the supreme sacrifice and devotion to duty,” said the Defence Minister.
Indian Army’s Northern Command tweeted its sympathy message which read Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh and every single other position salute the ultimate salute of Naik Ravi Ranjan Kumar Singh.
After a negligible plunge in the initial two weeks of August 2019, ceasefire violation by Pakistan saw a spike. The number of ceasefire violation cases along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir has been the most noteworthy in July 2019.
India salutes the martyrdom of Naik Ravi Ranjan Kumar Singh who made sure the enemy does not cross the line, does not harm the Indian Army posts and also took care of rest of his fellow soldier mates. Every soldier who dies on the battlefield signifies the call of duty for the nation is bigger than anything.
Naik Ravi Ranjan Singh is an ample example for those who complaint what the country has done for me? He replied through his life sacrifice, “What not can I do for my glorious motherland?”
