E-visa duration extended for 5 years

To boost arriving touristry throughout during lean period (April-June), MOT has proclaimed the reduction of visa fee from USD twenty-five to USD ten. A brief length of e-Visa for tourists with one-month validity and visa fee of USD twenty-five has been introduced for high season (July-March). The Ministry has introduced 5-year e-Tourist Visa with USD 80 fee, besides the present one-year e-Tourist visa with a fee of USD 40.

For Japan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, lean amount visa fees are USD 10 and for e-visa of thirty days, one year and five years, the fee is USD $25. For the remaining countries, wherever the e-Visa facility is offered, the lean amount visa fee is USD ten and high season visa for thirty days is USD twenty-five. For e-Visa for one year and five years, the fee is USD forty and USD eighty severally.
