Don’t Try To Be A Khatron Ke Khiladi: Rohit Shetty after getting first covid vaccine shot
On Thursday, Bollywood director and producer Rohit Shetty received his first shot of the COVID-19 vaccine. Shetty confirmed the news by sharing his picture on social media. Through his caption he urged people to get themselves vaccinated.
Amid the rising corona cases in the country, many celebrities have got themselves vaccinated against the viral coronavirus disease. So far, Bollywood celebrities who have been vaccinated include Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Dharmendra, Nagarjuna, Mohanlal, Kamal Haasan, Jeetendra, and Shobha Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Neena Gupta and Paresh Rawal.
On Thursday, Ace filmmaker Rohit Shetty also joined the bandwagon and received the first shot of the vaccine at Nanavati hospital, Mumbai. Rohit took to social media and shared two pictures of himself. In one of the images the Sooryavanshi director was seen getting the shot whereas in the other one he posed in front of a board, showing a thumbs up sign.
In his quirky caption he mentioned his famous action reality show Khatron k Khiladi. The Simba director wrote, “Action and Stunts are for movies don’t try to be a khatron ke khiladi in real life, get vaccinated. It is the only way to fight COVID. Got myself vaccinated today. Thanks to the staff of Nanavati hospital, the procedure was very well organised.”
On the same day, actor-director Rohit Bose Roy and his wife Manasi Joshi Roy also got jabbed at Nanavati. The couple posted pictures while posing in front of the #VaccineWarriors placards.
On work front, Rohit Shetty is busy shooting for his forthcoming film Cirkus. The film features Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. Rohit’s Sooryavanshi is also scheduled to release in theatres on April 30.
