Dinesh Karthik reprimanded for violating the IPL Code of Conduct

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) wicketkeeper-batsman Dinesh Karthik was fined for violating the Indian Premier League (IPL) code of conduct during his 2-team qualifier against Delhi Capitals in Sharjah on Wednesday. Karthik admitted to offense level 1, 2.2s  IPL Code of Conduct and has also accepted the sanction. For violations of level 1 of the Code of Conduct, the referee’s decision is final and binding.

Kolkata revised up 136 points in 19.5 overs after nearly squandering the solid foundation led by their openers in a challenging game. This will be the  KKR’s 3rd appearance after winning the title in 2014 and 2012. They have just managed to sneak into the playoffs at the expense of five-time Indian defenders in Mumbai.
