
Chandrayaan-2 Moon Landing Live Updates: Isro goes into huddle after losing contact with Vikram lander
Isro scientist Deviprasad Karnik who spoke to reporters gathered at the media tent at the Isro centre in Bengaluru said that the space is agnecy is “not sure” if the Chandrayaan-2 lander crashed. “Data is being analysed. We don’t have any result yet. It takes time. We are not sure,” Karnik said on being asked if the Vikram lander had crashed.
Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal tweeted, “What a phenomenal achievement!!!! We are there…We shall remain hopeful and courageous and have no doubt that we will cover the last mile…SOON.”
He also said, “Heartiest congratulations to our scientists…your work and huge efforts make us proud. India salutes you!”
