Bosco Martis stops shooting of directorial debut ‘Rocket Gang’ after crew tests positive for Covid-19
Ace Choreographer Bosco Leslie Martis is currently busy working on his forthcoming movie, Rocket Gang. The dance based horror-comedy featuring Aditya Seal and Nikita Dutt, will mark the directorial debut of Bosco. The film is backed by Zee Studios.
According to latest update, the shooting of Rocket Gang has been put on hold after a few crew members tested positive for COVID-19.
The president of Federation of Western India Cine Employees, BN Tiwari informed that the crew was shooting for the climax sequence. But as few members tested positive for the novel coronavirus, the shoot had to be stopped.
The shoot has been pushed to the second week of April as the shooting has been stalled for next 10 days.
Bosco confirmed to ETimes that the film’s shoot had been halted due to the positive COVID-19 cases. The cases occurred despite proper precaution. He said, “It is really tough to have a perspective on this because doctors and scientist still cracking on the virus. Vaccines have been rolled out, I guess that’s the only hope for humanity.”
Recently, Bosco took the first jab of the vaccine against the virus.
The movie features Aditya Seal and Nikita Dutt in the lead. Aditya is known for his role in Student of the Year 2 and Indoo Ki Jawani whereas Nikita was seen in movies like Kabir Singh and Gold. She has also starred in Netflix drama film, Maska.
Besides the lead actor, the movie will also have 5 talented children from across the country.
Initially the movie was scheduled to release on 18th March, 2020. However the release date was postponed due to the pandemic.
