Indian actor, director and producer of Hindi and Marathi cinema, Amol Palekar feels blissful when he hears new generation talking about his 1979 comedy film, Gol Maal.

Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s film was about how a person lies to get a job but things get worse when his official boss suspects.
Veteran actor Amol said that working in this film was nothing less than a picnic. They used to have fun while shooting the film. Palekar friendship with Utpal (Dutt) da has been very different and precious since they have known each other since their theater days.”

Palekar said, “Usually, when he was shooting he always told me ways to improve the way I worked that would improve his performance. Their relationships provided and they took! Events in their own way before sharing their response.”

“The fun and precious moments they had while filming ‘Gol Maal’ are what they see in this film and are still there today.
Amol when reached Zee TV’s singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’, told many things about the comedy film Golmaal. He said, “It is said that people always talk about two characters in this film, but actually there are three characters in it. There is a real man, who comes in the role of Ramprasad to get a job, the second one becomes Lakshmana Prasad and there is a third character who makes Ram Prasad Lakshmana Prasad.
