Amazon Prime Declares 14 New Originals Comprising Popular Shows : Mirzapur 2 and Four More Shots Please 2

 

 

Amazon Prime is one the most crowd-pleasing Over The Top platforms in India, well known for its original shows and content whether its be fictional or non- fictional. The platform yet again is ready to present the sequel of award-winning shows ‘Mirzapur’ and ‘Four More Shots Please’.

In a recent event the team announced “The Forgotten Army” as a big show of 2020 directed by Kabir Khan, the web series is based on Azad Hind Fauj and features Sunny Kaushal and Sharwari Wagh in lead roles. The show will be stream on Amazon on January 24, 2020. Amazon Prime has also announced 11 new series including Saif Ali Khan Dilli and Abhishekh Bacchan’s Breathe 2.

Returning Popular Seasons

Mirzapur – Season 2: Written by Puneet Krishna, the sequel will again be directed by Gurummeet Singh and Mihir Desai and Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar ( Excel Entertainment). The cast will include Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Pankaj Tripathi, Devyendu Sharma, Rajesh Tailang, Amit Sial, Rashika Duggal and others.

Four More Shots Please Season – 2: Produced by Pritish Nandy, Directed by Nupur Asthana. The cast will include Sayani Gupta, Kriti Kulhari, Manvi Gagroo, Shibani Dandekar, Bani J, Lisa Ray, and Milind Soman

The President of Amazon Jeff Bezos who is on a three-day visit to India said that he would be investing $1 billion across his streaming venture as well as e-commerce business. But his announcement could put him on a close race with his competition in India and elsewhere, Netflix which invested around Rs. 3,000 crores on original series.
